Hola. First of all, I would like to express my condolences to Mazinka. I'm so sorry for the loss of Paul.

Secondly, I would like to say that problems do exist with the ambulance service of LM. Now, unfortunately, might be the perfect time to address these constructively and find solutions to them.

The ambulance has governmental support from La Huerta in the form of a maintenance, gasoline, insurance, tires, etc., contract, thereby making it a public service. A Board, I believe, exists to give the ambulance service guidance to which the community is entitled.

I propose that the Board, if it exists, hold a meeting, open to all those interested in finding solutions. The meeting(s) would be held to identify any existing problems, out in the open, so that the community is informed and can help in finding constructive solutions to them.

I laud what the ambulance crew and Jeanne have accomplished and hope and know that the glitches can be found and fixed so that we can depend on them and the ambulance.

These are my two centavos and I hope the board and people will respond to my call and assist a very needed, essential service in the community in the compassionate manner it deserves. Cruz
