Is this a good alternative to Highschool Softball?

My daughter wishes to not play in highschool because of the amount of drama and the fact the coach is not as up to speed as our travel ball coach. She is going to play at the collegiate level and she just wants to keep up her skills. I also feel that in our highschool it is not your skill level it is how much parents give to the boosters.
