Hi I am considering moving my daughter from her "local" travel club to a more "serious" club in the fall. She is 12U now and will be 13U in the fall. We are new to the club softball world but are very familiar with club volleyball. There are several volleyball clubs that are just there for the money. They don't cut anyone and just keep forming more and more teams at every level all for the mighty dollar. What local softball clubs in a 2 hour radius of Chicago should we stay away from and what are good ones to tryout at? I am not afraid of her earning a spot and earning playing time.
