Situated at the edge of Kingswood Forest, The Stone Dragon tavern is on the border of the King's control. Consequently, it is a hotspot for outlaws and law-abiding citizens alike. A number of secret rooms, doors and passages enable outlaws to hide or make a quick getaway whenever the King's men come swooping in. As there is also an inn here, this is also a popular place for temporary travellers and explorers.

thoth we spend all our time running for our lives, going nowhere
“Ahh,” Sneezewort said knowingly, peering over at the wide-eyed bundle which was Cypress. “A lady friend.”
He said it in the exact same tone the other campers used whenever they mentioned Cypress. As in, hey Thoth, have you seen Cypress recently? Thoth was never sure why there was an emphasis buried in there.
He was about to make a second attempt at encouraging the pony to leave when a sound filled the tent which was so unexpected he almost couldn’t identify it at first. Cypress was… laughing? Her face was red and wet but she was smiling, sort of. Thoth squinted at her, trying to ascertain what was going on. Wasn’t she supposed to be hurt and sad? Did this mean she was happy now? Or was she not laughing at all, but crying in a very strange way? He scratched his chin, trying to marry this unusual behaviour with the patchy database of fairy behaviour in his brain.
“Just a moor pony.” Thoth rolled back over onto his front, still lying across the pony’s back. He folded his arms in front of him and rested his chin on them. “Sure. He’s literally just here for the attention.”
To demonstrate, he unfolded his arms and reached down with his good hand to scratch Sneezewort’s shoulder. The old pony didn’t have time for Cy’s hesitance and hadn’t bothered to wait for her to get an answer to her question; he was already nosing her sling and making her hair flutter by blowing hot air on it through his nose. His methods might be uncouth, but at least the pony’s presence was warming up the cool air inside the tent. There was still a slight breeze from the open entranceway, but there was nothing Thoth could do about that. Sneezewort didn’t fit fully into the tent; his backside was jutting out.
“Are you okay now?” He asked Cypress, literal and to the point.
