The Queen sighed as she nestled into a cliff above Hawthorne, where Phobus was originally kept. Her brain was stuck on repeat, playing the events of the war and what led up to it. Had she just killed him he would never have escaped, Drevis might still be home, and they wouldn't be dealing with new graves. She felt proud of how well she conducted herself and her pack, though those who had fallen were close to her heart and would be missed dearly. Her mother had been who knows where, mourning likely of her father. She degraded him so much when he first came here with her, and she felt a churning in her stomach as she dwelt on it. She shook her head, she needed to go for a run.
The shadow colored woman followed the path back downward from the cliff, finding comfort in moving under the fading colorful sky. Stars shinning above in the darker corners as the sun was setting. A musk ran through her nares, setting her on edge. An intruder this far in and unnoticed? She also smelled a child, was this some sort of joke? Her crimson red eyes flicked around the area before she took off running in the direction of the musks. Was this one of Beartooths lackies coming to free the princess? She came to the clearing for the meeting area, something was off. Her hackles were raised as she entered, slowing down only to stop roughly ten feet away from the man in her home. Her head rose, and her crimsons widened.
The smell was so much more clearer, though now it took an earthy smell to it as well. "Thyrius?" She asked, teeth no longer bared. A grin fell over her face as she playfully ran towards her long lost brother. "No way, no way it's you! Where have you been?!" She asked, overjoyed by his presence. She gently pressed her crown into his neck. Her eyes looked around, before settling on the child. "And who might this be?" She asked, smiling at the child. The Queen looked to her brother once more, her sweet smile fell slowly. "We . . . We have a lot to catch up on, brother."
Walk, "Talk", Think.
"Another trick to treat, with candy apple dreams . . ."
