It was not long until Lucaya entered his field of view, her hackles raised, clearly on the defensive. She also donned a pair of great antlers on her head – did everyone here really have a mutation of sorts? He could not wonder for long though, as he needed to keep his eyes locked onto hers, and wait for recognition to kick in. He’d flee if necessary, but he tried his best to stay stone still as long as he could. At about ten feet away, her demeanor changed, her crimson eyes widening. ”Thyrius?” The brute chuckled. ”Hey Lucaya.”. He spoke, letting a smile also fall onto his face as she bounded towards him and nuzzled her head into his neck. ”No way, no way it’s you! Where have you been?!” She spoke, her crimson eyes soon meeting little Joy who sat at his stony feet. ”And who might this be?” Thyrius smiled, lowered his head to nudge his daughter. He whispered. ”Go ahead. Introduce yourself.” The little lass’s light teal eyes looked shyly at Lucaya. She was big, and intimidating with those horns and her red eyes. But her father would not allow for such behavior. She wobbled forward, looking up to the large female with wide eyes. ”uh…uhm…hi! I’m Joy! She spoke, starting off shaky before saying her name. Now there was the openness Thyrius knew Joy had. ”I’m his little princess! She spoke, causing Thyrius to roll his eyes in embarrassment. He spoke, correcting her terminology. ”She’s my daughter.” His dark teal eyes tried to meet Lucaya’s, who he had noticed her happy expression fell slowly. While this had happened, the grey and brown mottled morpha lass chirped ”Right, I’m his daughter!. Thyrius listened to Lucaya. ”We…we have a lot to catch up on, brother.” It was at this point that his mother stepped into view, her posture almost, fearful? Her emerald eyes clearly were full of regret…and tears. ”Thyrius…why are you here? I need you now more than ever, Thy. We all do.” He watched as she collapsed and began to sob. Joy looked up to her father, almost as if she were asking for permission. ”Go ahead. She’s your grandma.” This caused the little girl to light up. Happily, and clumsily, Joy bounded over to her grandmother. ”Hi grandma-ma! Hi! I’m Joy! She exclaimed with high energy, and Thyrius noted a smile start to appear on his mother’s maw, which now that he paid attention, had snake scales on it? A small smile was reciprocated on his maw, before his dark teal eyes looked back to Lucaya. He kept his voice on the lower side, but Joy likely was not paying attention anyways. ”It definitely seems a lot happened Luce. What happened? Mother seems like a wreck, speaking of her, has she kept to her, uh, tendencies?” His eyes flicked back to Joy and Kanaya, almost as if he was checking his child was still alive. She was, of course, and Kanaya’s tears had slowed. His ears picked up some of her words. ”Woah! Look at all your scales grandma-ma! They’re so pretty!” A small chuckle left his maw before he returned his eyes to his sister. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
