The Queen watched her niece and mother interact together. They were adorable, and it seemed to calm mother a little to see such a bright and happy new grandchild. She turned and continued her conversation with Thyrius, speaking of the war and their now very large family. She then mentioned how he'd soon get to meet them, if he was staying. A smile crossed her face as she watched his reaction. ”I’d love to stay, though I do have a few questions. Give me a moment though to formulate my thoughts.” She smiled again and nodded as he sat down. She took the time to sit down with him. Just what is up with these…quirks…of everyone? I now have some jagged edges coming off my legs, which makes no sense. Joy has rabbit ears. Mother has some snake scales, and you have ANTLERS. Look, I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty cool. And what’s up with you talking about mom being ‘turned’? Also, what other traits may I see amongst other wolves so I'm not as taken aback?”
The Queen gave a soft laugh, enjoying the turn this was all taking. "Well, for a while this place was quiet and filling up with ordinary wolves. But as more and more stars fell from the sky and crashed into the earth, we all started gaining new abilities - Which I suppose is why it's called Starfall. If not physical changes, there were others. What you are is called an Earth Elemental, and Joy would be a Morpha. Mother is a Vampiric Reptillia, and I'm a Vampiric Colupus." She gave a soft breath. Looking to her mother gently as she stayed with the small child. "When I came here, and took over the pack, I was later turned back into a Vampire like I was previously in Blossom. When the time to march came about, I had a few who wished to be turned as well into one. Vampirisim is spreadable by venom in fangs. Mother was one of them, as were a few of my children and my mate. Everyone has seemed to have everything under control however. But there are many kinds of Bloodlines these days, I've seen everything from bird wings, butterfly wings, dragon like wolves, other elementals, several tailed wolves, sky pelted wolves . . . It just goes on and on." She gave a gentle laugh as she looked back to her brother, if he had anything else to ask or say.
”Second, what is the name of these lands? You said you’re the queen here, which, good for you I would not expect less of you, and you mentioned Tarben, but what pack do you rule? I’m also going to assume I’m now within bounds though based off of your initial reaction to my presence.” She gave another smile. "Forgive me, this is Hawthorne. There are now nine packs in total in Starfall. Amberbjorne to our South West, past the river. Tarben to the north over the mountains. Sabertooth directly to our South borders. Amaya past Amberbjorne toward the beach, Sindri the riverlands. Dawnshire to the farthest West of us, coupled with Nightingale to its North. And Ranjord, an island just off of the beach." She gave a small smile, it had been a couple years living here. So it made sense for her to be able to spew off the direct locations of all of the surrounding packs. "We are currently allied with Dawnshire and Amberbjorne, as well as newly Nightingale under their new Kings rule."
”Thirdly…when am I going to meet Nibris…Nibris it was right? Your mate? How dare you choose a mate without your glorious brother’s approval? I must meet him at once.” She gave a laugh, missing her brother so much. "Yes, yes. His name is Nibris, I'm sure he'd love to meet you, you're his brother-in-law after all. His Beta, even, if you'd like to take the position alongside my daughter Skade. Should the day ever come where I meet my demise, she will take over for me." The Queen smiled, rolling her shoulders. Her smile faded a bit as she noticed the itching on her shoulders was now growing more and more irritating. With a yelp, two giant black wings sprouted from her shoulder blades. Her horns staying the same, funny enough. She looked from the young Joy, to her mother, finally back to her brother. A small smile as she turned her head to the night sky pitched wings. "The Dragon like Bloodline . . . I suppose I'd be a Vampiric Dracarae now instead." She said with a soft laugh. She looked to her brother again. "Shall I call for Nibris for you to meet him?" She was unfazed by the transformation, more so fascinated by it. But as she rose her head to call for her beloved, sending out the notes in her song for him, she saw her sister and daughter headed forward with the white Dracarae Delta from Tarben heading in land. "Drevis! Lahmer!" She called, not even pulling her head back from the sky as she shouted to them. "Thyrius, Joy! Come meet more family!" She said and happily began bounding over to them.
Walk, "Talk", Think.
