Her activities for the day were short lived, she had no energy to do anything right now. What was a Princess to do in such boring times? The most she could do was sit around and wait, hoping she might find some fun in prodding her mother with a sharp stick as she rotted in a cage or antagonizing her stupid siblings that wandered the grounds. They were lucky to even be here, all of them. Not a single one planned to stick by father, and yet here they were. Here they had sold out their mother. It was an amusing thing, honestly. How they seemed to care about her and worry, yet had they just ran they'd be free for maybe a few more days. Now they were here, probably plotting against the crown.
The Princess did grow fond of Soraya, the kalak was truly a Dane and didn't even have the blood for it. Yet those children she carried in her womb would be welcomed as her full blooded siblings. To her, Nadia and Boiko were hardly siblings. They abandoned her like Larentia. But Soraya was more of a mother to her than Larentia. She truly had love for her. As the call rang out from her father, Skadi rose from her den. She took the time to groom herself, because a princess has to look her best. Then she set off in the direction of the meeting area. Surely he'd be announcing the paws-off of his wife ordeal and their children being carried. Maybe he'd finally execute Larentia for her treason.
As the snow white lass came to the frozen lake they all sat upon, it had seemed they had gained some new members. She gave a nod to her father and Soraya if she was there. "Father, Mother." She purred out as she climbed up to the stone pillar she sat on just underneath them. She looked to all of the among the conversation, as the new female who looked utterly tattered and rugged began to speak to her "sister". "Now who might you be? You're certainly a looker. You should meet my son, he's a glorious man -- He doesn't bite much, unless you like that kinda thing."
Skadi laughed at the statement, rolling her hueless eyes. "I hate to break it to you, but she's nothing special around here. Just the spitting image of a useless birth giver with nothing achieved." She laughed to them before looking to the woman, Baba Yaga she called herself. "The names Skadi, Princess of Tarben. She's my good for nothing sister who should be lucky she's even welcome here." She said proudly as she curled her plume around her paws as Wendigo did. He was an interesting sight, but nothing that pleased her. She was uninterested. She looked back to Nadia. "Where's Boiko? And wake up Larentia." She commanded. Her eyes looked to Soraya and Beartooth, waiting for them to speak and for the others to show.
