He waited, rather impatiently for the pack to show their faces. He wanted them to bask in the glory of their new Princes and Princesses, for them to know Soraya was off limits of course - And most importantly he wanted to inform them of the training he'd be composing after he returned from his war crime. His beloved Queen came to his side, happiness showed on his face as she pressed into him. “I’m up now, my love.” He chuckled softly, nuzzling into her cheek before turning to the incoming face. The first to arrive was the promising young Ares, but he seemed troubled. The Dane Kings brow furrowed as he began to speak to him. "Beartooth, I-I know you hate vampires. . . . You talk about it. . . . With Hawthorne. . . . I just wanted to say, I'm a vampire. I sometimes have a hard time controlling my bloodlust. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, please don't kick me out . . ." His head cocked to the side, as he was speaking it seemed all at once most of the pack had joined them. “Nadia.” His wife said to the traitorous daughter of his as she sat silent.
"What's so bad about Vampires? I surely hope you don't kick the lad out for something he himself cannot help. I too, am a Vampire. As is my son. It is not something to be ashamed of -- Especially to a man who has blood lust without the drive of the fangs." He nodded to the strange, rugged woman who sat in the shadows with her assumingly son. "There is nothing wrong with Vampires, I never stated I hated them -- But Ares, I already knew this. You have much promise in you, and I hope to guide you into a strong soldier as you mature. If you have a bloodlust, use it. Just don't hurt anyone of our blood or our home." He said with a smile to the youngling. His icy gaze turned to the beat up looking hag.
"The name's Baba Yaga, my son is Wendigo. We would like to join your pack, surely our services would be to your liking. We would be yours to command. Hitmen, if you would -- But far much worse, and far much dangerous. And to you I swear I shall not harm a soul under the kingdoms ranking -- I only really find children appetizing anyways. As for my son, well . . . That's another story. The strange two cackled. He couldn't figure out quite what it was, but he was interested in their stories. The pair seemed like they were very mischievous, something he could use as Baba Yaga had said. “It’s nice to meet you, Baba Yaga.” Soraya spoke out to them, his gaze not leaving them. "As you may already know - I'm Wendigo." The man spoke. “It’s nice to meet you both. Welcome to Tarben. This is Beartooth, Dane King of these lands. I’m his wife, Soraya. It’s nice to have some new faces here.” Beartooth spoke up in turn. "We are all Danes here, and if you are one of us then so are you. Welcome home."
Skadi of course coming in just in time to take her place under him and Soraya. "Father, Mother." Nothing made him happier than to hear her say that. He took so much pride in his family, the blood army he was raising. The hag turned to Nadia, her one eye staring. "Now who might you be? You're certainly a looker. You should meet my son, he's a glorious man -- He doesn't bite much, unless you like that kinda thing." He smirked at the remark, waiting for Skadi to have her fun. "I hate to break it to you, but she's nothing special around here. Just the spitting image of a useless birth giver with nothing achieved. The names Skadi, Princess of Tarben. She's my good for nothing sister who should be lucky she's even welcome here." He nodded along with the statement, and again after Soraya chimed in. “She’s lucky to have a place here in Tarben.” He looked to Baba Yaga and Wendigo, an evil smile on his face. Oh, he had a plan. As Soraya leaned into him he pressed his head to hers, knowing she probably felt safe and at peace here. If only it could last. That was why he needed to act before his brothers did, before they convinced Hawthorne to march on him.
He snapped into his reality as his daughter asked where her sibling was, and commanded Nadia to wake their birth mother. He looked to the cell of ice, close enough that he could see the w h o r e rise to her feet. Skadi had woken her it seemed, a smirk once again place on his face as he waited. So much news for everyone. Surely this would be an eventful meeting. In walked Rayne, she was the last of the non-related members to show. He leaned to Sorayas audit, whispering his words for only her to hear. "She's another one carrying my children. I found her attempting to take her life after my brother impregnated her and she lost them and him. I gave her children as a reason to live, and she told me where my bastard brothers are." He looked to Rayne, the brown female he had previously taken at his borders. Surely this was her first time meeting anyone in the pack aside from himself. "Hello, Rayne. Since we had last met, I have taken a wife -- This is Soraya, Dane Queen of Tarben." He said with a smile to her. Boiko barreled in, late of course. He spoke with Nadia, who seemed angry for some reason. Not his buisiness at the moment.
The Dane King looked out to the pack before clearing his throat and speaking. "Thank you all for coming today, I have a lot of announcements. First and foremost -- Soraya is Dane Queen, she carried my children and no other male may touch her or claim her as long as I breathe." He said confidently, rubbing his cheek on his mate before he stood. "Second, any held in an ice cell by myself can be used to your pleasure. Of course right now we only have Larentia who currently is carrying children of my blood, but I've grown quite bored of her. So as a gift to my soldiers, if you find yourself having a bored or lonely night, please feel free to use her to your hearts content." He looked to the cell, a smirk crossing his face. He looked to Baba Yaga, and her son Wendigo. "Third, as you may not know, we have some women among the pack who are not yet claimed. Such as the following, Nadia, Rayne, Skadi, and our newcomer Baba Yaga. Should anyone want them, feel free to engage in battle after the meeting for them if there is another male wanting them."
His icy gaze turned to the mountains, and he said with a smile. "Fourth, all able bodied wolves will be joining me in sparring. I will train you all into fighters, warriors, and conquerors. Because my actions of today will quite possibly engage us in a war with another pack -- Hawthorne. They have my brothers, and since they have not yet turned them over to my paws, I will be taking two of their own. A prisoner, held in the mountain, and a sibling of their crown." He said with a small pause. "I set out at dusk, and will be back before sunrise." He looked to Skadi. "Skadi, you and Pontchartrain will be in charge of making sure I am not followed home with our prisoners." He looked to Boiko and Nadia. "You two, are appointed Sigmas, as are you Baba Yaga. Ares, you will join them when you become of age. Wendigo, you will face me in combat when I return and depending on what you show I may appoint you as Delta for the time being. Rayne, you will take Zeta and care for the children when they are born if war breaks out. I will need as many soldiers in the field with me." He said bluntly before facing his wife. "I will see you tonight when I return, my love." He said with a smile to her, before turning to the pack once again. "We will cripple Hawthorne, and thus become the strongest pack. Wolves will fear our every breath. And we will conquer Starfall!" He shouted, his anger letting out in the end.
