A voice struck her audits, pulling her out of a sleep. "Soraya, it's time to meet the pack. I have some announcements to make as well." Her love’s voice whispered into her ear gently. Slowly opening her eyes. Her roses gazed around their den, and a yawn erupted from her maw. His tongue slid gently across her audit before her climbed away, making his way to the meeting. Soraya sat up from her bed, before glancing down at her belly which was now swollen with pups. A smile rested upon her lips. Those pups would be the light of her life, her beautiful children. Spawn of her and Beartooth. The Dane Queen finally felt like she had a home that she could be proud of. And with that, she had found the love of her life as well. As she sat in thought, Beartooth’s call brought her back to the present. The woman gently lifted herself up and made her way out of her den to greet those who decided to show up to the pack meeting. The Dane Queen wondered what announcements Beartooth would be making. Most of the pack knew of her already, but did they know she was expecting pups? It was hard not to tell, with her belly being full now. Soraya hopped up on the rock next to her mate, gently pressing against him. “I’m up now, my love.” She murmured to him, her roses looking towards the clearing in front of them. The first to arrive was a wolf she’d come to know as Ares. “Beartooth, I-I know you hate vampires. . . . You talk about it. . . . With Hawthorne. . . . I just wanted to say, I'm a vampire. I sometimes have a hard time controlling my bloodlust. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, please don't kick me out . . .” The poor boys words stammered on, and Soraya did all she could to hold back a giggle. Maybe Beartooth did feel differently about Vampires.. but.. Ares was a part of their pack, was he not? The Dane Queen decided to stay silent on his approach, glancing towards her Husband for his words. The next to arrive was Nadia. Soraya’s brow raised slightly that the femme had decided to stay in the pack, especially when her brothers had dipped off somewhere. Not that she cared. The only child from the litter of Beartooth and Lerentia that she cared about truly was Skadi. The others, they were traitors. The girl had dipped her head to both Soraya and Beartooth, and the Queen just looked at her silently. “Nadia.” She spoke bluntly, before shifting her gaze to the next newcomer. "What's so bad about Vampires? I surely hope you don't kick the lad out for something he himself cannot help." The strange woman spoke, and the Dane Queen sat silently while the lady continued on. "I too, am a Vampire. As is my son. It is not something to be ashamed of -- Especially to a man who has blood lust without the drive of the fangs." She had a point. Beratooth had blood lust. She figured that he would want a was with Hawthorne - weren’t his brothers there now? "The name's Baba Yaga, my son is Wendigo." She smirked, her one eye staying on him. "We would like to join your pack, surely our services would be to your liking. We would be yours to command." Soraya gave her a patient smile, shifting a bit to get more comfortable around the weight of her children. "Hitmen, if you would -- But far much worse, and far much dangerous." Soraya wasn’t scared of the woman, but she was happy they would have someone like Baba Yaga in their pack. "And to you I swear I shall not harm a soul under the kingdoms ranking -- I only really find children appetizing anyways. As for my son, well . . . That's another story." The Queen gently nodded along, before deciding to speak. “It’s nice to meet you, Baba Yaga.” Baba Yaga’s son next came strolling into the clearing, "As you may already know - I'm Wendigo." The woman looked over the two newcomers. “It’s nice to meet you both. Welcome to Tarben. This is Beartooth, Dane King of these lands. I’m his wife, Soraya. It’s nice to have some new faces here.” She spoke, her voice as gentle as she could make it before she noticed Skadi sliding in. "Father, Mother." Her voice purred out, and Soraya couldn’t help but give a small laugh. “Hello, my dear. I’m glad to see you here.” She leaned down, gently nuzzling her now adopted daughter’s head a bit before returning to her upright position. She truly did care for Skadi as her own, and would continue to do so. Soraya knew that Skadi could see her as a mother, instead of the traitorous bitch that Larentia was. She held no form of jealousy for the witch, but she did hold anger towards her. Anger for leaving Beartooth and Skadi alone, for abandoning them. If one abandons a family, they don’t deserve anything good. "I hate to break it to you, but she's nothing special around here. Just the spitting image of a useless birth giver with nothing achieved." Soraya snuck back into reality and noted that Skadi was talking to Baba Yaga about Nadia. A proud look crossed the woman's face. "The names Skadi, Princess of Tarben. She's my good for nothing sister who should be lucky she's even welcome here." Soraya nodded along to her words, glancing at Nadia coldly. “She’s lucky to have a place here in Tarben.” The Queen chimed in, before glancing to Beartooth as Skadi continued. "Where's Boiko? And wake up Larentia." Skadi had really grown into such a fine commander, and it came easily to her. Soraya only hoped that she would continue to grow and become even more amazing. She held a ton of pride for her daughter. Soraya wouldn’t be the one to wake up Larentia, though. She’d rather not have to deal with that witch. But the Dane Queen did want to see the look on their prisoner's face when she realized that Soraya was pregnant, with pups that would be treated like true loved members of the pack. Unlike Larentia’s little devils, excluding Skadi of course. Her adopted daughter was the one good thing that happened out of that relationship. The Dane Queen pressed gently against her Husband, gazing over the crowd of wolves. She finally felt home.
