Mike, that's another case of the same sort of thing as the image host here does, though in this case its You-tube links. On their links, pretty much everything after and including the question mark in the code string is un-necessary to post a link. I don't know what the purpose is for that stuff unless it is a tag to help form a preference profile of the poster.

I religiously hack those off.
