I think in the main it's HOW I use YouTube that may differ from yourself.

For a start I don't have an account/subscription of any kind with them and certainly never use or have seen their home page.

I only use it either by watching recommended stuff such as the gold posted here or I type into a search engine something I'm interested in IE "armoured cars WW2 YouTube." and watch what ever it throws up. Subsequent visits never throw up in the right hand pane anything I've viewed previously.

In short I see no evidence of my viewing habits being tracked and further examples of type being offered for further perusal.
