I have a similar blocker here, but two thoughts:

First, by cleaning up my links before posting, I'm both doing the other guy a favour who might not have such a thing installed and I'm doing a little bit of something to strike an active blow against the bad guys and the bros.

Second, these blockers do nothing about a site like Youtube using your history to tailor their own content to present to you. Watch a bunch of political bullshit and Youtube will flood your homepage with political bullshit to get you to watch. Even tailored to your statistically derived political stance, left or right.

I leave the sort of thing I want them to search for me on my history; aircraft, railways, model-building, select comedians, &c. I remove anything remotely like what I want nothing to do with for my own wellbeing; politics, pointlessly raunchy comedians, so-called parody, clickbait, &c.
