When the Mi Amigo returned inApril, she was on 1169 Khz, but moved two channels up to 1187 after a short time. The Cheeta II continued on 199 for a while longer, with only one DJ eventually, so for a while there were THREE separate Radio Carolines broadcasting.

The North ship was changed to '259' using the 1169 crystals about six months later. They corresponded to 252 (South) and 256m (North).

Am I one of the few who still listens to the Germans (and Mi AMigo International) on the 49M band in the car? The reception can be great quality usually (anyone know of a mod to extend the band up 20 kHz by the way?)
