Brian, sorry to hear you had shingles I can sympathise with you I had it many years ago so know the pain you must have had, don’t know where on your body you had it but my late dad had it in the forehead down to the eyes that was terrible.

In days gone by one of the ‘remedies’ to cure shingles was scrubbing the area where the shingles were especially when it was round your middle!!!
