a lot of the methods proposed to test, say, testosterone levels end up excluding some intersex athletes, even if they are, if we want to adhere to the oversimplistic sex binary model, biologically female: https://interactadvocates.org/trans-sports-bans/ If sports was ultimately about fairness, then how is it fair to intersex people, who's biology is not a choice, that they must pay the price of exclusion? The question is about fairness, right?
