My point last week is that fumbles etc arent a function of luck, they’re a function of skill. Archived Message

We did well by not fumbling today. The guy that had the bad fumble right to Nebraska barely played today and didn’t touch the ball. Function of luck or function of skill? I think skill.
I think we played better today. Better enough to win if they were willing to give us the ball on a bad onside decision and not being aggressive on 4th down.

You were all over people last week about counter factuals and yet here you are doing the same.
Can’t shit on progress because the other team ####ed up and have it both ways.

You can expect to have penalty calls back and forth in a football game. Having your opponent gift you an onside kick is maybe a one in 200 game occurrence. Pretty rare to have that sort of good fortune.

And do we come with another score?

But if Maryland just kicks off to start the 2H, do we win?
I’m not ready to say we’re near to turning any corners on offense.

We stayed out of our own way barely more than Maryland and it was enough.
