Despite the fact that 80+% of them are crushingly tedious and just flat out bad movies. The academy just cannot get enough of them.
Agree that Oppenheimer was a really great exception to the rule, and deserving of any awards it wins.

Not only was it actually boring from an entertainment perspective, it didn’t even really teach you anything about his life or legacy. Just a total miss.

Agreed with Maestro. That was mediocre to me. I learned nothing about Leonard Bernstein from that movie.
