the corridor on the 101 that includes Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake and Thousand Oaks.
Easy access to the city and outstanding schools and amenities.
I'd also look along the coast north of San Diego. Lots of great little towns.
Or maybe San Clemente or Cambria or SJC.
