This was after about 2 hours with a wire wheel on a grinder. I’ll need to use a polishing wheel on it next then I’m going to hit it with 1200 degree flat black. I also had to cut the hinges as they had finally seized. I bought new, marine grade stainless hinges that I’ll have to figure out mounting as well. I think I can finish tomorrow. Stoked on it though!
