They had retreated back. The firey princess had lost not only Elden and Haldaki in this cursed battle, but also Aethelflaed, who was now a Hawthorne Prisoner. Anger flashed through the young womans eyes. She could tell her mother was feeling the same rage she was, but also grief. Her father carried the lifeless body of Elden as they had journeyed back to Tarben lands. The cut on the girls shoulder was burning badly, but other than that, she'd come out of this battles unscathed. She'd killed one of Hawthornes sons, and no, she didn't feel bad. They had threatened their lands. Watching as her father leaped upon his ice spike, Soraya right behind him, his call echoed out. "My children, my family. Do not hang your heads low in defeat, while we may have lost this battle we did not lose our motive. My brother has been slain, and with him we have weakened Hawthorne and their allied packs greatly. As for our fallen warriors, they did not die in vain. For tonight, we celebrate their lives, and we thrive! We celebrate their lives, by creating more!" Lova sat, curling her tail tightly around her front paws. She knew what was coming, but was slightly excited. She knew her father would offer up the women to be claimed. Lova also knew that it was her duty to be claimed and to bear children in Tarben lands. It would help grow the pack. "Aurora, Rayne, Lova, Atla, Cascade, Dwyn, Eyre, Lahmer, and Drevis. Why do you not claim these women? They know our laws, all but the new lass. Must I enforce claiming?" As she stepped up, sitting upon the spike her father had produced, the woman gazed around the males of the pack. The newest prisoners got claimed relatively quickly, and Lova was surprised. Did they not want true Tarben blood? The woman rolled her eyes, but looked to her father. But that's when she heard a male speak up, Ares, was his name. He was trying to claim both her and Dwyn. The woman gazed at him, her ice blue eyes staring daggers into him. What a selfish beast. Two women? But just as she was about to hop off and meet with the man, another entered the clearing, introducing himself as a royal. Kublai. For some reason, her heart flickered when she saw him, the gorgeous man with peacock feathers. He.. was breathtaking. However, he did something that surprised her. He turned directly to Ares. "You will not have Lova, I claim her as mine." Her eyes flicked between the two men, then glancing at her mother, who nodded her forward, the woman went to take her place next to Kublai. "Kublai. It's good to meet you." The Princess murmured to him, giving him a silent thank you. She took her place beside the man, tail once again returning to its place, wrapped tighlty around her paws. She glanced quickly at Ares, noticing he still had his eyes set on Dwyn, and gave a small smile. He wouldn't get her. Only a royal could touch her. Lova turned her attention to her father and mother, who still offered up the other women sitting upon the ice spike. Somehow, she knew they would end up getting claimed. The men in these lands couldn't get enough of women. It would help the pack grow enough. Enough to where it wouldn't matter if they were in another war. They would have the numbers.
