The Monster didn't even know of his deeds, the fact that he had children residing in another land. No one knew, except for Wisteria. The only thing he knew was that she may or may not have fallen pregnant with his children after his ruthless act. Phobus was still proud of himself for standing up, for doing what he thought was right. He couldn't help but laugh at the way his family had looked at him, seeing the true demon that echoed above his soul. Now he had a place in Tarben. He knew he wouldn't go to war, he would likely be ganged up on and killed, even against his strength. So, after talking it through with Beartooth, they both decided he would be better staying home. Now, as the pack returned to the icy wastelands they called home, he saw just how much blood he had on his paws. He assumed that Lucaya and their packs had done this, yet he knew that Tarben, Nightingale, and Sindri had inflicted just as much, if not more damage. Tarben had only tactifully retreated from them after losing their daughter, Aethelflaed, but had returned with Lahmer. Lucaya's daughter. The monster has his sights set on her immediately as they returned, but as Beartooth offered up the girls, they began to get claimed quickly. The demon stuck to the back of the meeting, slinking in the shadows and waiting for his chance. Lahmer was beckoned to Balerions side, as Drevis to Wendigo. The man Ares attempted a try on both Lova and Dwyn, but only succeeded with Dwyn as the other Tarben Princess was taken by Kublai, a new man. That left Atla, Eyre, Guinevere, Rayne, and Cascade. Rayne and Atla were both taken quickly after that, and he wondered how well Eyre would be. Seeing her stand up there, looking uncomfortable and desperate for someone to claim her, Phobus emerged from the shadows and raised his head. "I claim Eyre." He spoke gruffly, looking to Pontchartrain and Skadi, knowing it was their daughter. Beartooth had told him that he could partake in claiming, so he was excersizing his right as a Tarben Member. If the girl stepped down, Phobus would give her a sickly sweet smile and sit, waiting for her to take a seat next to him. If she choose to do so, he would gently lean over. "Hello, my little dove. You'll be safe with me." Though his words were genuine and sweet, they hid a sinsister laughter behind them. Something he kenw Eyre wouldn't pick up on right away. He assumed she'd heard about his doings. Phobus would then turn his attention back to the meeting, smiling at Beartooth and Soraya. He'd had a fling with the Queen a long time ago, but she seemed content in her new home. He wouldn't ever cross the King nor Queen, but some part of him wondered if Beartooth knew about him. The Ethereal Demon put that into the back of his mind before focusing to the meeting, waiting for the last to be claimed.
