It was only a matter of time, and little did the Dane King know that today would be that day. It was an early morning, he was busy reflecting on his past two weeks of training the pack. Skadi had just birthed several young to his delight, Pontchartrain had claimed her. His children were growing up, giving him children of their own -- He and Soraya were grandmothers. And now, even his adopted son had claimed a lass. Beautiful looking she was, not his type. Not with those fragile wings. Though Balerion had claimed the woman, he was proud. After this war, he would have to parade the women around, any unclaimed should be claimed by the males. Who else would keep them in check? The King was far too concerned with his own wife, the gorgeous and fiery maiden.
His mind wandered to his Beta, he had yet to claim a woman. But he spent much time with this captured woman. Something seemed to be up, he seemed quite interested in claiming whoever when he had first arrived, and yet seemed almost not up to the task of pupping the Queen of Sindri. Nevertheless, he did it. She would bare those children, and Wendigo would be a father. He set his rules to her, as they were the very ones Beartooth had instructed him to put in place. They had better show for the day of War.
As the days had come and gone, this morning he felt cold rain. Something heavy hung in the air. The brown males tattered face looked to the sky, moments before hearing the venomous call for him and his pack. In an instant of adrenaline, he rose to his feet and a howl ripped from his maw to summon forth Nightingale and Sindri. He bound for his throne, his eyes narrowed as he yelled to any running to him. His nails scraped on the ice and stone. "Todays the day, my brothers and sisters! Gather yourselves quickly, we make way to take down the trio of Starfall!" He laughed in a snarl, before running for the Proving Grounds.
Skadi was in toe, Wendigo following shortly behind. The others sure to follow him. He found himself standing across from the Vampire Queen himself, a snarl releasing from his mighty jaws. He turned back to the others who would rally, hoping to see his darling Soraya join him at the front lines. "Skadi, Pontchartrain, Wendigo, Aethelflaed. With me. Kara, Raven, Baba Yaga, Ares, Redd, Boiko, Nadia, Lova, Elden, Haladki and Odin, line up behind us. The rest of you - Huginn, Muninn, Balerion, Radke, Arvin, Mori, Rayne. Take to the skies, show them the numbers of Tarben."
His head turned to the Hawthorne, Dawnshire, and Amberbjorne troops. "Count your heads, Lucaya. I'll be sure to leave them as presents for you before I tear you limb from limb." He called, his head lowering in a snickering growl. "Where are my dear brothers by the way? I heard rumors that they're under your protection now - Just as Phobus is under mine. Drevis is seeming to settle in nice and easy as well with my Beta." He snickered, hoping to trigger a reaction. Wendigo, said nothing as he stared forward beside his King and the Princess Aethelflaed. On the other side, hopefully Soraya would be standing next to her mate as well as Skadi. She waited for her claimed mate, Pontchartrain - Bloodthirsty for anything with a pulse. She had waited for this day. They all had.
