The Dane King was having far too much fun, on this day he had killed many. His eyes laid on Soraya, his beautiful wife. Then he saw his two children with her fall, his icy stare widened as he felt pain for the first time in so long. He looked around, bodies on his side were racking up. His children - Haladki, Elden, Kara, Natalya, Arvin, Vader, Kraum, Muninn, Huginn - All dead. His teeth clenched together in his mighty jaws as he grew enraged, his pelt still soaked in the blood of Bastian.
A pummel came to his back, and he felt teeth sink into his neck. A loud roar barked from his jaws as he threw the attacker off of him. His head lowered, a Dawnshire wolf. Why would this boy try to challenge the King? He snarled at him as he came forward where the wolf had landed against a tree, seemingly breaking his leg. A snarling laugh left his mouth as the boy dared to taunt him, waiting for the next move of the injured boy. As he lunged for him, Beartooth sunk his teeth into the boys shoulder and ripped as they tumbled. He caught a claw to the snout, not caring much for the pain as he had adrenaline already pulsing through his veins. The boy leapt away, freezing. "You'll regret that, boy." He laughed as he started walking towards him, then dashed abruptly to frighten him. His massive body hurled at the child, taking his injured leg into his jaws and thrashing it about to break it more surely. He tossed the boy to the side, turning to finish the job when a loud voice rang through the air. "BEARTOOTH, SORAYA! NOW I HAVE YOUR DAUGHTER!"
His icy eyes widened as he quickly darted off and away from the Dawnshire boy, taking off towards Lucaya before he stopped where he stood earlier. Looking out, he could see the Vampire Queen standing over Aethelflaed, his and Sorayas heir. His jaws clenched shut as he knew he could not attack, that would surely mean an ends for his daughter. But Soraya, she began to charge the Queen after exchanging a worried glance with him. "Soraya, no!" He bolted after her, and skidded across the rocky terrain in front of her - Hoping to scoop her into an embrace. He breathed heavily as his icy gaze looked to the Vampire Queen. "I will not kill her, I have no reason to. Not yet. I suggest you listen. You have my sister, and if she is truly in good care then I demand we see her. Send her with an escort to Hawthorne, and if she is well she can remain with you - If she so likes. In the mean time, I will keep your daughter hostage in a more formidable prison. One you cannot break into, nor should you try to. Any attempt on taking her from us and we will march on your lands. Send your Delta with Drevis if they are so close. No harm will come to him. If they are so close, they may wed in Hawthorne or what-have-you. Your daughter will come home with us, and stay with us. If Drevis seeks to return to you, she will not be harmed by anyone. As for our prisoner you trespassed to steal from us, keep him. I don't think a man of your reputation would kill him, not unless he defiled your wife. So I assume he's hidden away in Tarben still. Keep him to Tarbens grounds, and Tarbens grounds only. Should my members catch him anywhere outside, should any of the wolves here allied with Hawthorne find him anywhere else - He will be killed. He is a kill on sight. Do I make myself clear?"
Beartooths gaze narrowed, he glanced to Soraya and then back to the Hawthorne Queen. "And what will we receive in return to ensure our only Delta will not be walking into a death trap, along with our daughter?" He asked coldly. He watched the Queen stiffen, before letting out a small sigh. "You have my word, they will not be harmed. If you truly feel you need an insurance bond, my daughter Lahmer will return with you to Tarben in the meantime. She will visit with Drevis and your Delta." Beartooth took a moment, looking at his daughter who looked terrified under the Queen. "We are crystal clear." "Good. Now leave this place, so we may carry our dead home." Beartooth looked to Soraya, they had lost his daughter and a son - Now another daughter. His eyes turned to the remaining children they had together. A deep sigh left his chest, his maw rose to the sky and set out a call for those sided with Tarben to take their leave. When his call ended, he looked back to his wife. "Lets go home, Soraya . . ." He said softly, nudging her cheek.
