Khasinau ;
Khasinau rushed forward at the call of the alphas and alphesses. He yelped excitedly, delving into the Sindri lines; but before he reached them he was confronted by the queen of Nightingale. They grappled, and he yelled as a shock of pain overcame his head. The b i t c h had ripped his skin from his skull. She left him lying there, bleeding. [Scarring of Khasinau]

Laika ;
The pretty girl snarled. Her body was tensed with excitement, thirsting for heavenly blood. She charged, clashing with a Nightingale girl. She smelled like the queen. But she was more skilled a fighter than she looked, for she dove beneath Laika and bit hard, and as she did, Laika felt her back right ankle snapping beneath the pressure of the woman’s teeth. Laika screamed. She bit down hard on the Nightingale princess’ shoulder, tasting blood. [Breaking of Laika’s ankle]

Ada ;
Ada wasn’t on the front lines; she was there to help. She assisted by swiping at any wolf from the opposing side who came too close to her. She bit at a young Tarben child. The girl, sleek and sly, came around, swiping and biting. Her claws hit Ada’s eye and raked across it. Ada gasped in pain; the young one cackled. “Lucky warrioress Raven doesn’t kill old elders,” she chuckled, melting back into the fray. [Loss of sight in Ada’s left eye]
