Well, 145/74 IS high, but not HORRIBLE. It should be below 130 or less preferably

RECLAST is a once a year osteoporosis infusion and it works EXTREMELY WELL! Because of my malabsorption-disorder, I struggle to process calcium properly and to maintain Vitamin D levels which is necessary for calcium to do its job. So, my parathyroid took over the job of the vitamin D and began stealing calcium from my bones and teeth. So, I would up with osteoporosis in some bones as well as osteopenia in several others (which is why some of my vertebrae broke). Anyway, to get to the point, I was put on yearly Reclast 3 years ago. After a year, I had another bone scan. The osteoporosis was GONE and reduced to osteopenia (which is a far milder form of bone loss) and some areas were actually repaired! I tried the Fosomax thing with pills every week on an empty stomach but wound up vomiting for the entire day each week that I had to take them. Allergic to it as it turns out. I tried the daily injection route too, without much success. Then I went onto the yearly Reclast and VOILA! It worked! It reined in my rogue parathyroid gland and increased my bone density! It is possible that different people have success with different methods to rebuild bone, but it's worth an ASK of your doc for its convenience. A half hour infusion once a year! Since your issue with the pulsatile-tinnitus is fairly recent, it may be related to a change in meds? The daily injections? Your FiL being there? All kinds of things. What is important is that the bad things are ruled out. Don't get too worried about it though. It's usually nothing serious but don't take the chance.
