I think it will be all QB’s going 1-3 and then MHJ goes 4, and if the top 3 QB’s are off the board I don’t see AZ getting enough of a haul to pass up MHJ.
The Chargers then sit at #5 and could go in any number of directions. But a lot of people have tried to connect the dots between a Harbaugh/Roman staff (both who prefer to prioritize TE’s heavily) and Brock Bowers. Who knows if that’s actually what they want, but if they do, they can almost certainly go back to #9 and still get him.
If the Bears decide they really want one of Nabers/Odunze, and also want their choice between the two, I think that trade makes a lot of sense. And isn’t as steep of a price as going to #3.

1. CHI- Caleb Williams QB USC It's gonna happen.
2. WAS- Jayden Daniels QB LSU I still have a gut feeling the evaluations on Daniels and Maye will be much closer than people think.
3. *TRADE* CHI (from NE)- Marvin Harrison Jr. WR OSU New England could stick at 3 and take Drake Maye, but they have so many holes on the roster. It's much better for them to get pick 9 + compensation (either making this a trade for Fields + 9 or picks + 9- i would think they'd prefer the latter) whereas the Bears with a young and talented defense can try to load up for Caleb Williams by giving him the most highly sought after WR prospect since Calvin Johnson.
4. *TRADE* DEN (from AZ)- Drake Maye QB UNC I think if the Bears don't move up for Harrison, this is a great spot for him, but with Harrison gone and Maye still on the board, AZ will be auctioning off this pick and the Broncos desperately need a QB with Russ cooking elsewhere next year. Sean Payton gets a young QB to mold and Maye has a ton of physical talent.
5. LAC- Rome Odunze WR Washington "But the Chargers have Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and they just drafted Quentin Johnston in the first last year." They're also $35M over the cap. Cutting Allen saves them $23M vs. the cap, cutting Williams saves them $20M vs. the cap. At least one of them will be a casualty and Johnston kind of sucks.
6. NYG- Malik Nabers WR LSU I could see the Giants reaching for QB #4 here (McCarthy), but the last time they reached for a QB at pick 6, it didn't go great for them. I think they go for BPA who is also a position of need for them.
7. TEN- Joe Alt OT ND Boring, but the Titans need to revitalize the OL desperately.
8. ATL- Dallas Turner EDGE Bama The Falcons are really missing edge rush. Turner has the best combination of athleticism and skill.
9. NE (from CHI)- Taliese Fuaga OT Oregon St Fuaga has been a quick climber in the draft due to his showing in the Senior Bowl practices. He can play either tackle or even kick inside to guard. The Pats need that versatility.
10. NYJ- Olu Fashanu OT PSU The Jets have to protect Aaron Rodgers. Fashanu can play right away at LT and is the best pure pass blocker in the draft.
