He felt his heart break a bit as she spoke a simple word, clearly upset by his words of her father and sisters passing. He closed his eyes gently for a moment, wishing he could have helped her family. Her movement towards him after he finished speaking of what had happened and his true feelings startled him, she picked his head up with her own so their eyes could meet. His amber eyes met her green. ”I like looking into your eyes, Wendigo.” A smile quickly spread on his face, his eyes watching hers as nothing but love showed in his own.
”They bring me peace, amidst the situation I’m in, that is, being Tarben’s prisoner. You coming back safely…albeit a bit injured, which I apologize on my mother’s behalf, brought me to tremendous ease.”He smiled at her more, a soft laugh leaving his jaws. "I can't blame your mother. I'd have done the same." He spoke. As she moved closer to him, he felt his breath hold in his chest for a moment. Her face buried in his shoulder and he felt like he could breathe again. ”Thank you… You’ve been so kind to me since I was brought here. I’ve learned some of your mannerisms, and I can tell emotions in your eyes, despite your stoic nature. I’d love to go back home…but… But I…can’t…help, falling in love…with…you.”
His tail gently wagged, a hopeful smile on his face. "I love you too." He spoke, nuzzling his face on top of hers. He wished he could stay in this moment, but now that he could finally get her to speak with him he felt he had to speak of recent events aside from just the battle. He gave a soft sigh before gently resting his head on top of hers."Forgive me for killing the mood, but I do not wish to hide things from you. I'm sure you've smelled them on me before, other females. Under Beartooths command I was sent to mate with Sindris own Queen, to solidify an alliance between Tarben and Sindri for the war by getting her pregnant. From the war I could tell she had given birth to them, the time frame adds up. I don't know how many, or their names yet. But she is supposed to send all but her successor to Tarben to reside here. Beartooth also recently asked me to needlessly do the same with his daughter Nadia. Whether it was to scare or scar her, I only told her if she did carry after that she, her mother and her children would be free from Tarben and she quickly took that chance. Her, her brother and sisters along with her mother were kept here for a year as prisoners. Beartooth seemingly grew tired of seeing them now that he has Soraya." He said, ashamed. "I'm sorry, I understand if this frightens you or makes you think less of me." All he had pictured when he did lay with those women were her, all he wanted was her and for her to be safe. He gave another soft sigh.
