He could not imagine a better night, the Wraith was overjoyed by the love he was feeling. It was unusual to him, but it felt . . . Good. He gave a soft chuckle as she nuzzled into his side when he entered the den after her. His wing felt so right wrapped around her side. His concern was voiced, most of it anyways as he feared what would happen if she chose to stay in Hawthorne. "Wendigo." His hellfires looked to meet her emeralds. ”Since the end of the meeting until now, I have reveled in these moments…and I only wish for more. Hence why I used the term life partner. I want you to be in my life until death do us part.” He smiled at her, feeling his body only want more with her too.
”While I do wish to return to Hawthorne to meet with my family once again…I want to stay here. With you. In Tarben. And with the loss of my father, sister, and my nephew, it will be hard for my family to accept that fact. Some may even not want to see my face ever again. But, my mother had a soulmate tie to my father. She spoke of it often. She admired and adored every aspect of him. They were separated for years and somehow came back together. I do not want to risk losing you, Wendigo.” Her words caused him to look shocked. She had known what was worrying him, but even more so she'd chose him over her home and her family? His hellfires stayed on her before she nuzzled into him. A smile washed over his face once more. ”I further do not want to cause any more issues between here and Hawthorne by asking you to come with me. You’re Beartooth’s Delta, and I could only imagine he would be livid if you were to leave after how dedicated you have been to him. We really don’t need that again. Too many lives were lost.”
The Wraiths ears flattened to his head. "I cannot ask that of you, they're your family and it's your home. Beartooth could possibly be talked to, but at least think about it some more. Wait until we see your family to decide, that's a big decision." He said, concerned as he nuzzled into her cheek. Her pheromones were strong, mixing into his own. ”Wendigo. I want you.” His eyes stayed on her, a chuckle leaving his mouth. "I want you too, Drevis." He said softly into her audit.
Fade in, fade out . . .
Sweat stung the Wraiths eye lid and his wounds, though it wasn't horrible. He dismounted her, laying beside her once more as he looked to meet her gaze. His wing extended to wrap over her if she let him. "I love you, Drevis." He said softly as he went to lick her cheek. Another soft chuckle left his maw though shortly after. "Do you think if you carry our children your family will hate me? I did promise your mother I would keep you safe, I said nothing about this though." He said softly, a smile still ever present on his face. He was almost somewhat happy his own mother was not around anymore, he'd have to be fearful of her involvement with any children he had - She might have tried to eat them.
