The Wraith adored her laugh, the soft way her eyes and mouth moved as she did so. He found himself entranced in her very being. As he asked her of what her mother would think, if she did carry their children from their mating, she let out another laugh. A small smile pulled at his jaws, she was truly okay with the idea. ”To be completely honest, I think they’d be confused, if anything.” She nuzzled into his fur, and set her head over his paws. A warm and fluttering feeling in his chest but he remained silent as she kept speaking, listening intently. ”Frankly – I knew I did not fit in there. Firstly, the vampirism. Hence why I say they’d be confused – they would never expect me to lay with a vampire, let alone a vampire being a member of Tarben.”
He watched her sigh, a soft frown pulling at his jaws. So she was seen as different. ”Second, although you mentioned my sister’s passing…I cannot easily go back. I loved her, but it was not reciprocated. She was the most mean to me out of my three siblings. Mav and Styxx, well, they did their own things. My memories of Hawthorne, though some great memories, I also have some sadder ones. I wish to not re-live them, but also stay in contact with my family. Which makes things difficult…” He stared at her, giving her his full attention as she spoke and refusing to waver even though she was a little off topic. He enjoyed learning more about her, even though some of it was sad. ”I got off track from your actual question, I’m sorry. As for keeping me safe, you still technically did. Although I may carry children, our children, I do not believe my mother will be mad. In fact, I think her first thought would be excited for new grandchildren – she was very excited with Lucaya had her children. As for Lucaya, well, I imagine she might be angry with my decisions. But upon getting to know you…I think she could forgive it. After all, she loves me for who I am.”
He smiled softly at her. "I'm sorry to hear of that, I didn't realize you were also in pain in your own home . . . " He said quietly. "Please don't apologize, I truly love hearing your story. No matter the question. I'm glad though, that you think your mother and sister will be accepting for the most part." He said his last sentence with a soft chuckle. "You will never have to worry about anyone being unkind to you again, not with me around. Beartooth has all but announced his acceptance of you publicly, he'd name you his Delta beside me. Our children will grow up strong, fighting warriors. No one to pick on them either - Especially not eachother." He smiled at her, watching calmly. "I suppose it's best for us to rest for now, darling. We do have some time before we have to head to Hawthorne and visit your family, but I don't wish to keep them waiting too long. We'd need energy for the walk, and I have to be sure to collect your niece from Balerion before we go." He said, giving a soft sigh. He could only hope the Dreadful Dragon was being kind to the Princess of Hawthorne. He watched Drevis though, hopeful for dusk and to see her face again when he awoke.
