Her words of his smile made the Wraith light up, he felt his stomach bubbling - Is this what butterflies felt like? He couldn't help but feel overjoyed that he had finally spoken about his feelings, and even more joy flushed over him that they were not one sided. His next words were what worried him, he was worried she'd not feel the same anymore of him. That she'd think him to be a monster. His amber eyes stayed to the ground, though he kept his head resting on hers.
”I’ll be completely honest, I did smell the females on you. And I did wonder what you were up to, whether it be Beartooth’s bidding or your own volition. I’m glad it was the former. As for your children with Sindri’s alphess, I understand, and I have no gripes against their presence. In fact, I respect that you want them in your life.” He felt a smile pull on his lips again, though small. Did he really act as a mindless slave to Beartooth? He hadn't noticed. He was only following what he was told to do.
His eyes looked to her as she shifted upright. ”I have one condition to being your life partner, though. I do not wish to be turned into a vampire.” He stared at her for a moment, almost caught off guard by the request - Considering her family's reign. A smile pulled at his jaws again, his ears pinning forward. "That's fine by me. I will not push you to anything you do not want to do." He felt like he could stay in this space with her forever, though he knew she had to be returned home by the week. That dragged on his mind a bit. She would be offered to stay with her family, and he felt he could see her wanting to stay with them. He would let her of course, but he didn't want to lose her either. Would Beartooth retaliate toward him if he chose to stay with her?
”I would like to lay with you though, that is, sleep by your side. I can imagine you’re quite tired from the war and need the rest. If you perhaps have the energy to do more…I’m not against it.” His eyes widened at bit as she winked and began to walk to their den, a smile painted widely on his face. He leapt to meet her side, his wings perched above his back as he walked with her. "I do have a bit of energy left, not fighting really in the war and all." He chuckled as his smile still showed brightly. He looked onward, occasionally looking back to meet her face before they finally came to their den. Their home. He gave a nod in the direction of their doorway, offering for her to go first. Once she was inside, he'd climb in beside her and drape his wing over her. "I do not want you to think that I'm just claiming you, Drevis. I enjoy those words you spoke earlier - Life partner. I don't just want you to feel like a lay, or a thing to be conquered like Beartooth commands of his men to do." He spoke softly, concern on his face. "I won't do anything you do not want me to do."
