I grew up having strong faith in this country and what I viewed as its continuing potential to excel. It's hard to admit that we have a President in office who behaves the way Trump does, and that he was lawfully elected. I don't enjoy any of this. His mouth alone, his name calling is embarrassing.

And he isn't the only one. Kennedy is a nightmare . . . and there are others - others (not Kennedy!!) who I at one time had hope for. But like the saying goes, hope dies hard. But it does die.

I can only hope ours allies understand that Washington does not always represent We the People. Washington is pretty damn good at representing itself. . . and convincing people that they are only doing what they do for our benefit.
