Making demands, punishing failure, issuing forgiveness for disobedience was worthless and failed, as it was doomed to do.
Every competent leader knows better.
If you are a military officer, and your troops disobey you, then it is YOUR FAULT for incompetence of leadership.
Education, motivation, discipline, & training are the effective keys for obedience that God never even tries to use.
How DARE I criticize God's program? Simple: It didn't work, did it?
