Well, for me it looks like the premise is that God is a forgiving God and will forgive the same sins over and over again for believers, and the question was... how many times do people (who believe this) think people or believers who commit the same sins over and over again should be forgiven?
Not sure where the "tautology" is... I am just asking a question that seems obvious and appropriate in the context that was raised... that if God does indeed forgive the same sins over and over for those who believe as such, how would that square with the willingness of such believers to go to war against other believers in this same 'forgiving' God? Are they disagreeing with God who forgives over and over? Or is it okay to kill other believers and then "forgive" them for whatever they feel the offenders did 'wrong' over and over again?
