What I don’t understand is the reason for your complaint.

Don’t you have a standard for what you believe, and, therefore believe it’s true? And if it’s true wouldn’t you defend that truth?
That’s been the basis of the discussion of ideas for millennia? Has something changed?
It seems to me that such ideas are worthy of discussion. Am I wrong? If so, why?
