The Deuce: Depends on what you want on the DL

There will be several good run-first DL available there. McDonald and Miller are both excellent run defenders at DT. Zion Young is a textbook Allen DE- but again, is run-first. The pass rushing options are all much riskier plays. Peter Woods/ TJ Parker from Clemson. Maybe reach on Malachi Lawrence.

At Safety, almost assuredly Caleb Downs (MY GUY) and Dillon Thieneman will be gone. EMW from Toledo is intriguing. Could get someone like AJ Haulcey on day 2 to play the Brisker role.

I don’t know that you go for tackle in the first 2 rounds unless you think Ozzy is not coming back and you don’t see any chance for Braxton. I mean, you don’t take Max Iheanachor there and expect him to play this year. He’s a stash and develop type. You could go for Blake Miller, he’s nfl ready, but has only been a RT (i think).

I like the DT options. Either miller or McDonald. Shore up the run D.

Which hey, hopefully it works out like last year, because Loveland looks like a future All-Pro.

Would love to fortify the DL, but none of these options stick out to me.

They need a S but I really hope they can wait and take advantage of a deep S class.

LT spot is shaky but can’t see them doing more there.

I like McDonald, but doesn’t seem a scheme fit for Allen’s D.

Just kind of left not feeling strongly about anything.

Welcome to the Outlier Draft.

The best players? All at "non-premium" positions. The 3 guys I think that can't miss are a running back, a safety, and an off-ball LB.

The prospects at premium positions all have a major flaw. The best pass rusher has T-Rex arms. The best offensive tackles might actually be guards. The best QB thinks whole milk is spicy.

Trying to figure out who goes where is a dart throw. Well, to be fair, it's always a dart throw. It's *especially* a dart throw this year, ok? Trying to figure out which team is going to be ok overlooking which weakness is going to be damn near impossible.

In the thread below, I'll make some posts about my thoughts on the different positions to get into more specific discussions on players.
