The dark queen had ventured from home, searching for her two children who had wondered off. Though she loved the night, she knew it was no place for children. Her sharp blood red eyes caught the sight of something in the distance as she came closer. "Maverick?" She called out to the teen, as his head snapped to her.

"Have you seen your niece and nephew? Skade and Helheim?" She spoke a little softer, nearing him. Quickly her children came out from behind the burnt tree Maverick stood next to. "They wanted to watch the stars." Maverick spoke, looking to the sky. "I didn't want them to wonder out without a guardian."

The queen smiled at him softly, her youngest brother and he had already made it to an age her own brother could never grow to. She saw a lot of Thyrius in him, the boy he used to be. The sound of a crash made the pups yelp, and she drew closer to them and her brother. A low growl let out from her lips before she and the others fell blinded by the bright light . . .
