The pitch hued, crimson skirted mother was followed by two of her children, now much bigger compared to months ago, as they wandered the Ashen Woodlands. They were trapped here for a little while as a result of a forest fire and unable to escape, they had to take the best possible cover, a stone den nearby. Thus, they were unable to return to Hawthorne for this period of time, and Kanaya figured she would have another moment with Lucaya about her disappearance. Well, this time, proof could be shown. Some parts of her fur were singed, revealing skin burnt to a first-degree kind of level. She was grateful that her kids were unharmed, but she had to take the damage herself in order to accomplish that.
