The two siblings, stuck like glue for the past few months without their mother, were wandering around Starfall almost aimlessly, looking for somewhere to call home. They had just come from the outskirts of Hawthorne – although their mother’s smell was very faint there, they both perceived strong odors of blood and death and were aversive to it. How did their mother get into a pack such as that? Kelsea, the more emotional of the two, felt tears begin to form in her pale brown, blue flecked eyes as this thought crossed her mind, her primarily light brown bodice retreating to a frightened state. Her underbelly, snout, and blaze on her chest colored with an ashen hue were more apparent than ever when she expressed fear. Her brother, Oracle, despite his one blind eye, through his other light brown eye he could easily tell she was scared. ”Come on, let’s go.” He whispered, his primarily ash gray body looping around to her side and directing her to Ashen Woodlands. As he did, his ear coated in white fur perked up at the sound of a crash.

Kelsea heard it too, tears clouding her vision slightly. But the two teens knew that they should check it out – what if someone was hurt? The two sped up their walking until they reached the site of the comet landing, where many other wolves gathered and appeared to be rapidly changing…some taking on wings, scales, or even some that took the form of stars and skies or gained the powers of some elements. Perhaps they may gain some of these too?
