The love-driven boy had not seen Eponine, or even that beautiful golden lass he had seen in passing but never had the audacity to approach, for a long while. Where had they gone? In a depressive state, he was napping just outside of Ashen Woodlands, being awoken by a loud crash. His pale green eyes shot open, his light brown bodice arising to its feet. The sound had come from further in the Ashen Woodlands. Hesitantly, he followed the noise, observing once again a situation similar to that he had experienced at Star Lake months ago. Wolves were walking up to this comet and changing form. Seeing some familiar faces, but also new, he walked close to the comet, hoping that maybe this time he would get lucky.
