His sons had to be here. "Helius! Where the hell are you? It's not safe here." the King shouted, angrily into the night. "Paeeon, why are you here!" His sole purpose was keeping his sons safe. So where were they? Why had they come here? The Ashen Woodland was known to be a dangerous place. Shadows lurked, evil lingered. Why had they come here? What was the point? He had to admit though.. Kratos had felt a strange pulling to come here. What was so special about this place? It didn't feel safe.
"Boys! Get out here!" Panic filled the Kings usually strong voice, causing it to shake. But hell.. he was scared for his sons. He wasn't worried about himself anymore. He had heirs to his throne. If he were to die, he had to make sure one of them would take over.
The light, he didn't even notice right away. But when he did, it seemed like it was too late. Falling to the ground, everything turned black.
