Kodlak did not come to for a while after the war, he did, after all, lose a leg. That snow white princess of Tarben took it from him as he went to check on his grandfather, whose life was taken by some other femme. His eyelids flickered open to see he was in his den, and that the spot from where his leg was ripped off had…sort of…scabbed up. It was not fully healed, and it still hurt when moving his hips, but the black brute knew he had to get out and start walking on 3 legs more. It took him a bit to stand up, but once up, he felt confident he could walk as normal as he could. The first few steps were slow, but he soon enough developed the momentum and decided to wander outside of the packlands. He had recently been given the role of Kappa, after all. It was time for him to explore. How he ended up at the Ice Caps was simple: he started to follow the line that started to extend from his chest once he stepped out of the pack lands. He had not seen this phenomenon…and there was almost an instinctive drive that urged him to follow. Why not? Upon arriving to the Ice Caps, he soon discovered climbing would be a problem. He found a easier incline, and started to head up that hill. During his climb, he paid attention to the storm appearing to develop over the shores. What was that about? It seemed as if that storm came from nowhere. His amber eyes rolled, before turning his sights back to the path. He was almost to the top, where a female stood, when the ground began to shudder. He immediately lost balance, falling to the ground with a ”Oomph!”. He began to feel his stump seep again. Immediately he looked up to the lass with his amber eyes, hoping to meet her own. ”Hey! Uh…can you help me out?” He spoke, motioning his head to his stump. ”Hate to say it’s still a new injury. Thanks to that good ol’ war…” He clearly annunciated sarcasm as he spoke of war. He thought he recognized her from Amberjorne…or was it Dawnshire? There were a lot of wolves there, but frankly, Kodlak’s mind was still foggy due to the trauma he had experienced. He attempted to stand up, his russet tail waving in the wind, and scaled chest with scales of yellow and white expanding as he took deep breaths, but the pain took over. He fell back down, another ”Oomph!” leaving this maw. Actions & Words.
