The Elemental girl felt her breath speed up in anticipation. “Okay. Fair warning, soon enough you will have a strong desire for blood, hence why my mother turned all those who wished to be turned before the war. It fades in time and becomes more manageable.” Soon enough, Leona felt his fangs sink into her neck. Her first instinct was to squirm away, but she stayed in place, and immediately, a woozy feeling set upon her. But as Kodlak withdrew his teeth from her neck, it was immediately followed by a terrible craving. She wanted the metallic taste of pure blood. Leona looked to Kodlak. “This is intense.” She licked her teeth, eyes searching for any source of blood besides Kodlak. She was aware of him standing. Distractedly, she looked past him, to the Icecaps behind them. She wanted . . . she didn’t know what she wanted, aside from blood. She took a shuddering breath. “This craving is crazy. Might there be . . . might there be a possibility this dizziness will fade so I can hunt? Or is that not recommended?” Leona swayed on her feet.
“No there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do; to make you feel my love.”
