When he made his request, his amber eyes noticed her attention move from spacing out to him. He noticed her eyes widen, causing him to show his teeth as for explanation. Her eyes met his, but he noticed she was in thought. Patiently, he waited. Eventually he got the answer. ”I would love to! Anything to make you feel better, Kodlak.” His eyes widened at her answer – he certainly wasn’t expecting that. Since the war and his changing, Kodlak found that he was one of the lesser bloodthirsty vampires, surprisingly. His grandmother brought countless sources to his den as he was first healing from his injury to restore his iron levels, but since then? Kodlak did not need it as much. There was still a small craving there, but a manageable one. ”Hit me up Kodlak. I don’t mind!” Her words brought him back to the present situation, away from his own thoughts. He hesitated, but then nodded, his amber eyes narrowing on her neck. He spoke, giving her an idea of what was to come. ”Okay. Fair warning – soon enough you will have a strong desire for blood, hence why my mother turned all those who wished to be turned before the war. It fades in time and becomes more manageable.” Awkwardly, he turned himself so that his maw could reach her neck. He felt his pulse race, partly from the pain of his wound but also because he’d get to bite another wolf. He had not experienced the first bite yet – he unfortunately passed out early on in the war due to the blood loss and shock. He opened his maw, placing it around Leona’s neck, in a position in which he would not kill her nor necessarily cut off her air circulation, but where he could get a decent amount of blood. She would likely feel a little woozy herself afterward until more blood was pumped by her heart. He then bit down, feeling her blood move into his maw. It was… rejuvenating. He breathed in deeply, the fur and scales on his chest rising. When he let go that deep breath, he would finish his bite – removing his teeth from Leona’s neck. The bite lasted no longer than 5 seconds, which was just enough to bring some energy and life back into Kodlak. It was likely also long enough to cause the dizziness in Leona, which would soon be overcome with a yearning for blood. With his new recovered energy, Kodlak would make it to his feet and watch over Leona as the vampirism would course through her. Actions & Words.
