Kodlak anxiously awaited a response from Leona. Was him not easily being able to, well, produce children, a deal breaker for the Amberjorne lass? His ears were folded back in embarrassment, but perked at Leona’s voice. ”I only want to do what you’re comfortable with, Kodlak. No more. If that’s difficult for you, then I’m okay with not doing it; I don’t want to cause you any pain.” He nodded, a small, still embarrassed smile crossing his maw, as she, his mate, continued to speak. ”If just existing as mates is all you can do at the moment, that’s what we’re doing. I don’t want to force you into anything. Besides, little mini mes would be all kinds of overwhelming, and we’d both be so frustrated with them. That said, if we ever do; I warned you.” A loud laugh left Kodlak’s maw at that comment. ”Surely you couldn’t have been that bad!” He said as Leona offered him the last leg of the rabbit. Kodlak gently took the offering from her, laying down to enjoy it. ”Thank you, Leona.” As he started to rip some of the tendons and muscle out, he spoke, somewhat muffled because of the meat that was in his maw. ”You gotta tell me more about your childhood! Surely it must’ve been more carefree than mine, being one of the royal children of Hawthorne.” He was not quite sure whether he had made that point clear prior, but given his appearance, it had to be obvious that he was related to the royal family in one way or another, right? He even had the same bloodlines as his grandmother – vampire and reptilia. His eyes of amber were from Nibris, with which he looked at Leona with, a smile across his face. His mate was just someone of Amberjorne, no relations to Themis or Mabbit that Kodlak knew of. That was bound to be a bit awkward if that was the case though – Mabbit was a distant cousin from his understanding. Nonetheless, the black and auburn brute awaited a response from the, his, lovely Leona. Actions & Words.
