The pitch colored brute with his chest of scattered scales made his slow descent down the mountain with Leona in tow. He asked her about where she was from. ”I’m from Amberjorne. Not raised there, but they’re like my own little family. I imagine it’s like that for every pack. I couldn’t imagine a much gentler queen than Queen Themis, although she can get real mad.” He nodded, his ears attuned to her voice. It was nice, melodic even. He then took the opportunity to speak about Hawthorne and how he was royalty. He threw in his sister being taken to Tarben, laughing after said comment of his own about her behavior. Leona spoke again, offering sympathy. ”I hope she gets back safe, Kodlak. I really do. I think all of our allies hope that.” He looked away, his amber eyes showing a little bit of sorrow. He spoke, his words soft. ”As much as I’d like to be hopeful, Leona…I know Lahmer was a peace pawn, just like my mother taking the Tarben princess into Hawthorne.” He turned to look at Leona again, putting another smile onto his face. Leona was a pretty woman, no doubt. When they reached the bottom of the mountain, he asked that all-important question about their tie. Kodlak noticed the light flushing to her cheeks as she giggled. ”Well, it’s not like you’ve insulted me, or I vomited on your feet, or we hated each other from the first look. So, I think this tie has a real chance of getting going. I think I’d like to pursue it. W-would you? Kodlak?” He let a smile make its way onto his maw again, giving a small nod. ”I would, Leona. That’s why I had asked.” He spoke, walking over and attempting to rub shoulders with her before he spoke once more. ”Hate to sort of break the moment, but that blood loss is making me dizzy. Mind if we find somewhere to shelter for now so that I can continue to address my wound but also continue to be with you?” He was hopeful, he enjoyed being in her presence so far. He meant nothing towards mating and children by it – he was genuine in his reasoning. He was getting light headed. Actions & Words.
