To McDonalds, Chipotle, Tyson, Subway, KFC, etc... We purchased raw ingredients and turned them into patties, steak, pork, chicken, sauces, beans, tofu, etc. for the end restaurants.
So I can only speak to that branch of the supply chain.

Food suppliers increasing prices during COVID just because people thought that it became more expensive to produce(it did not). You are assuming rational behaviors on both sides. However, I think just the implied threat of tariffs are going to cause some economic downturn.
And, once that happens, Trump, Elon, and other cronies will leverage their existing wealth to buy assets at a reduced price. They've not been very secretive about the plan. I mean, just think how much the Pelosi's will make!
