The seven-tailed, glowing woman had heard of the forest absolutely filled with fireflies just like her. She flew through the sky, taking her time. Wars were brewing. And Jelethe’s queen was insane.
She was unhappy with being an iota; there was nothing for her to do. She would much rather be a sigma, for she was very good at fighting. Instead, Athena was unreasonable and resentful.
She flew from Sindri to the Shores, to the Fields, to the Tree and then the Brook. Finally she came upon the Firefly Forest, and set down. Her tails waved in a breath of wind, all shuffling amongst one another. She amplified the sound within her five-foot radius, so that one could hear the little fireflies buzzing.
Jelethe’s eyes spotted a body. His pelt was seeming to develop a beautiful scene, colors rolling over a pelt of brown and crimson. She stepped closer to investigate this strange phenomenon. Then she stepped on a rock . . . and the pain was so intense she blacked out.
“You’ll find yourself burning in h e l l!”
