Enigma was growing rather fond of being a parent, though he knew it would be time to find a new home very soon. His children needed the safety of a home that wasn't just on a beach. His mind played with the thought of returning with them to Ranjord, that was where their mother had relocated to before she passed. He just worried they wouldn't be able to make the journey. Amaya was somewhere he had considered, but he had heard recently that the laws were similar to that of Tarben, just flipped. He didn't want that for his sons and daughter.
He sighed as he watched over their surely sleeping faces, something perked his ears. He heard a whisper outside the cove den, as he rose and walked silently outside, the whispering swished away. Another spirit? He was growing tired of seeing them, it was draining to communicate with anyone other than Raven. But she only visited once. He wondered if it was her, though usually she made herself known. His ivory limbs carried him after the wisp, finding himself at a forest unlike the rest he had seen. This one was unclaimed, and illuminated by fireflies. He'd wished he had brought the children to see such beauty, attempting to move to head back and get them before his paw hit a glowing stone. Everything went black as he hit the ground.
