Her audits flicked to the brown lad as he spoke back to her. “I needed a break. You would think, being as quiet as it is, Sabertooth could just offer me a bit of peace. But no. Apparently I need to take a walk and make a fool of myself in front of a pack member. It’s hard to think when your sister is fluttering around looking for your missing nephew. I’m Remus, by the way. Nice to meet you . . .” Her head turned briefly to look at the man after he spoke of a missing nephew. "You should seek Lazarus then, she has a way of finding out about those who are lost. Though you may not like the outcome." Her head turned away once more.
That was until she heard the yelp of pain from the man, her eyes darted back to him as he had transformed into something else. A small smile on her cheeks. "Reptillia and Kitsune, ey? Lucky man to be given hybrid Bloodlines." She spoke, rising to her feet. The wind picked up in the slightest bit, causing some of the berries to blow off of Kaleidoscopes pyre. She quickly hurried and put the berries back up, placing a rock over top of the stems to hold them in place. A soft sigh left her muzzle. "I hope your nephew meets a greater fate than my children did when they were missing. Lazarus helped me find their bodies, and we brought them here to rest for all of their eternity. Close to their mother. She helps me speak with them."
She gave a soft smile as she walked back to the place she originally sat. "My daughter, Kaleidoscope. She's the one with the raspberries. The lavender flowered one is my son Mayfire. And the one with the orange pansies is Zero." She said quietly. "No one ever ventures this way because it's where Lazarus lays the dead to rest. The only who have died however are my children. Each meeting demises far too soon. They were barely adults, barely lived life. They only left behind myself, just like their father. Though in this case it's not their fault." She said with a soft sob. "I'm sorry for being so standoffish toward you, but everyone I care about leaves me behind one way or another. My best friend disappeared, my mate left me knocked up with his children for another woman, and now my kids are gone. All I truly have is Lazarus, and even she says her time is nearing." She felt tears sting her cheeks. "I do not wish for more pain, so if you're here to just string me along please just go. I don't wish for more heartache."
Walk, "Talk", Think.
